Value Steam Mapping Introduction (VSM)

Value steam mapping is the simple process of observing the flows of information and materials as they occur currently, summarizing them visually, and then envisioning a future state with improved performance. It is a basic tool of lean production to analyze the current state and design a future state with lean principles.

The workshop introduces the method of value-stream mapping and shows the use on an example.
In the second part of the workshop the participants could analyze a certain part of the
particular company and draw a value-stream map on-site by themselves.
